Free Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients
1 medium onion
1/2 cup diced fully cooked ham
1/2 to 1 tsp. grated gingerroot
1/3 cup frozen peas
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh mushrooms
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onion
2 beaten eggs
2 cups chopped Chinese cabbage
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 Tbsp. peanut oil
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp.cooking oil
3 cups unsalted cooked rice, chilled
4 scallion
5 cups, cold, cooked rice
6 oz. Cooked ham
6 oz. Cooked shrimp, shelled
Dash ground red pepper

How To Make Fried Rice

Easy Recipe Directions:

Season eggs with salt and pepper. Peel onion into ½ in wedges. Diagonally slice scallions into 1 in pieces. Cut the ham into very thin strips. Heat 1 Tbsp. of oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add egg; form a thin omelet. Cook, without stirring for 1 minute. When almost set, break into pieces, to resemble scramble eggs. Transfer to plate, set aside. Heat the remaining 1 Tbsp. of oil in the skillet. Add onions. Stir-fry for 4 to 5 minutes or until onion is soft and lightly browned. Add the ham. Stir-fry for 1 minute or until heated. Add rice and peas. Fry until heated through. Add eggs, soy, scallions and shrimp. Cook and stir until heated. Serve immediately
